Island Zone Security was founded in 2023 in a house in Victoria, BC, by two individuals who had worked as security officers and gained extensive experience in security operations over the years. This hands-on experience opened our eyes to the challenges within the industry and inspired us to start our own company in Victoria, BC. What started as a vision turned into a reality, security company built on trust, expertise, and a strong commitment to keeping businesses safe.

We were required to hire a security company for our wedding due to the number of guests, as mandated by both our insurance policy and the venue. The specific individual assigned to our event was especially impressive—discreet and mindful of staying out of the background in photos, to the point where it was easy to forget they were even there (though they absolutely were). When a few guests had a bit too much to drink, they handled the situation with grace and professionalism. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
